Information
about Zero Balancing and Zero Balancing Practitioners Zero
Balancing (ZB) is a gentle yet powerful
system of touch and was developed in the 1970's
by Fritz Frederick Smith MD, a doctor of osteopathy
and medicine.
Zero
Balancing is a hands-on bodywork system designed
to bring your physical structure into better relationship.
It is an ideal way or you to stay healthy. It
yaims to introduce a clearer, stronger field of
energy through the body in order that less well-held
tensions and patterns can be released, and by
working with your body it relieves pain and reduces
stress, leaving you feeling restored and relaxed.

Zero
Balancing treatment usually
begins with a brief discussion
about your general health and
your specfic health goals, helping
to ensure that there are no
reasons why you should not receive
Zero Balancing. Sessions may
lasts 30 to 45 minutes and the
treatment is performed fully
clothed with the patient lying
on their back on a massage table.
The practitioner works to evaluate
tension, especially that which
may be held in the bones and
joints of the body. The practitioner
uses comfortable finger pressure
and gentle traction to engage
body structure and body energy
and applies short and gentle
lifts and stretches, which are
held for a few seconds, in various
locations of tahe client's body
- around the spine, ribs, hips,
feet and neck.This allows any
tension held deep within the
fabric of the body to begin
to release. Patients generally
experience a deep state of relaxation,
similar to that attained during
meditation. Finally,at the end
of the session, the patient
is encouraged to walk for a
minute or so, integrating the
changes into their body.
Sessions generally will vary
according the patients specific
needs but they all aim to achieve
:-
an
boost to your sense of well-being
and general well-ness.
the
removal of unwanted stress
and the promotion of relaxation.
a
reduction in body discomforts
and the promotion of postural
alignments.
an
increased sense of connection,
peace, balance, and harmony.
improved
concentration
improved
sleep patterns.
the
elimination of old behaviour
patterns.
